| Mass fraction of lead (Pb) /% ≤ | 0.002 | 0.002 |
| Mass fraction of cadmium (Cd) /% ≤ | 0.001 | 0.0005 |
| Mass fraction of mercury (Hg) /% ≤ | 0.00005 | 0.00005 |
| Mass fraction of chromium (Cr) /% ≤ | 0.005 | 0.005 |
|
Note: the indexes of Fe, As, Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr, and insoluble substances listed in the liquid products in the table are calculated as 10% of AL2O3. When the content of AL2O3 is ≤ 10%, the impurity indexes shall be calculated as 10% of AL2O3 products. |

Method of Use
Solid products should be dissolved and diluted before input. Users can confirm the best input volume by testing and preparing agent concentration based on different water quality.
● Solid product: 2-20%.
● Solid product input volume: 1-15g/t.
Specific input volume should be subject to flocculation tests and experiments.
Packaging and Storage
Every 25kg of solid products should be put in one bag with inner plastic film and outer plastic woven bag. Products should be stored in the dry, ventilated and cool place inside the door for fear of damp. Don't store them together with inflammable, corrosive and toxic goods.
Solid vs. Liquid Drinking Water Grade PAC: What’s the Difference?
Both solid and liquid Drinking Water Grade Polyaluminium Chloride can be used for drinking water purification, urban water supply, and industrial water treatment. The main difference is not their basic treatment function, but how they are transported, stored, prepared, and dosed.
Solid PAC is supplied as a concentrated light-yellow powder. It requires dissolution and dilution before dosing, but its higher concentration makes it more practical for long-distance transportation, export orders, and longer-term storage. It is also a suitable option for water treatment plants that already have PAC dissolution and preparation systems.
Liquid PAC is supplied in ready-to-use liquid form and can simplify chemical preparation and dosing. It is more suitable for treatment plants with continuous PAC consumption, suitable storage tanks, and shorter transportation distances.
How to Choose Between Solid and Liquid PAC
Choose solid Drinking Water Grade Polyaluminium Chloride when:
PAC needs to be transported over a long distance
The product will be shipped internationally
Storage space and inventory flexibility are important
The plant has dissolution and dilution equipment
Bulk or recurring PAC purchasing is required
Choose liquid PAC when:
The treatment plant is relatively close to the supplier
PAC consumption is continuous and stable
Liquid storage tanks and dosing systems are already available
Reducing on-site chemical preparation is a priority
For most overseas buyers, distributors, and projects involving containerized shipping, solid PAC is generally the more practical option because it reduces transportation volume and is easier to store.
The final choice should be based on total delivered cost, storage conditions, dosing equipment, labor requirements, and daily PAC consumption rather than product price alone.
